Hi @teth ,

Have you checked that the APN settings in the phone are correct, especially the MMS setting?

(Settings > Wireless and Networks > more > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > MMS)

The settings should be available on your mobile phone service provider's website - search for APN settings.

Alternatively contact them about your problem. It may not be your phone.

Hi What type of attachments are you downloading? Are they email attachments or MMS (e.g. video links attached to texts?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

For me it's a basic picture

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Hi @chamil01 ,

You only say 'For me it's a basic picture'

Help us to try and help you. More information will be helpful

What app are you using to get the picture onto the phone, email, Messages (MMS) another app perhaps.

Can you send pictures OK using the same app?

Does your phone internet connection work OK? Can you download web pages OK?

What have you tried to do to make it work properly?

What is the make and model number of the phone?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Does it take a long time before it does ever download because I'll go on Google, look up a picture, push download and it takes like a long time before it shows in my gallery, I don't know what's wrong.

Hi @fragsakes,

You don’t state what ZTE model you have, but check that the Message app’s Auto-retrieve setting is enabled

Go to Messages > tap the right hand soft key below the screen to open the options menu > Settings > Multimedia messages (MMS) > Auto-retrieve > tap the checkbox to enable the setting

It is turned on. Model is z981

This phone has been nothing but a headache. But it is better than the other ZTE phones I've had…. After doing a bunch of fixes. Nothing related to this.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Hi @fragsakes,

OK.

Have you tried wiping the phone's cache partition?

If so apologies, if not here's the procedure.

Ha! Found my downloaded email-attached photo in Photos/File Mgr folder/Pictures folder. FYI, my ZTE 579 is amazingly capable but is not my main phone.
