Why won't my Galaxy Note 3 Power On?

I have a Note 3 N9005 that ran out of charge and died. Now it is almost completely dead even after charging continuously for 2 nights. I've already tried another battery. The screen just stays black like it's powered off and there's no charging or other LEDs (touch buttons at the bottom stay dark) but the phone vibrates only once after plugging in or pushing the power button. To get it to vibrate again, a power drain needs to be done. The battery is still charging because it gets warm when plugged in.

Hi iMedic, thanks for replying. I have already tried that. There's just nothing on the screen at all after the initial short vibration of plugging in or powering on.

I just learned about this. Try removing the battery, plugging in the charger, let it charge for a little bit, then putting the battery in, while its still on the charger. Hope that fixes the problem

Could try a hard reset. But you'd lose all your data. I'm starting to wonder if your phone is on, you just can visually see anything

Remove back cover

Remove all screws from mid frame

Carefully remove mid frame

On the right upper side (about even height with volume keys on side of frame) you'll see a gold looking cable connector (is the one that connects the LCD and digitizer)

Make sure it's snuggly connected.... this often pops out when dropped.

If your LCD display looks okay, phone vibrates and lights appear, this may be your problem.

;)
