My laptop is not charging or getting any electricity to turn on

my laptop does not turn on and it does not charge. before i had to look for something to hold it tight for it to either charge my battery or just get electricity to turn on. but now it does not turn on at all. i suspect that the charging port inside the laptop ain't working properly. how can i replace or change the inside charging port of my laptop. and where can i buy the part i need to replace it.
