If you have another charger lying around try it. Sounds like the charger may have malfuntioned.

Hi. Disconnect the charger. Now take out the battery and plug the charger back in. See if the laptop will now boot from the charger. If it does, then you need to buy a new battery. Don't run the laptop for too long from just the charger as it can damage the charger.

I had this same issue so I took out the battery and plugged the charge in and it work. I then turned my computer back off, unplugged it and put the batter back on. Once the battery was back on I plugged the charger back in and my computer works fine. Does that till mean I need a new battery?

Maybe the motherboard got short circuit.

why would plugging in the charger short circuit the motherboard??

I ask because exactly the same thing happened to me, and no amount of suggestions and nothing I did made it turn on again. I gave up and sadly it remains gone. But was the issue with the charger? or a faulty circuit? or something else???

If it was a charger for a different laptop that you tried, then you could possibly damage the charger or the laptop motherboard. If the laptop appears to be charging but there is no picture when you try and start it, try connecting to an external monitor. Most laptops have a VGA output port, some have an HDMI port as well. If you get a picture on the monitor then either the laptop is set to display externally which is just a keyboard setting or there's a problem with the motherboard. If its the latter, then you will need the services of a repair shop.
