Can't get out of internet

I haven't used this tablet my friend gave to me so I powered it on and the Internet page is there with a website. But the buttons work. The home back and the menu buttons work. I can't get out of this page. I turned it off and on and reset with power and volume buttons. Nothing helps. Any advice?
