iPad is disabled .
I tried the recovery mode, it's not working. I only get the graphic display of an arrow pointing to iTunes. That's all I get

Hi Mary,
You can try DFU recovery for this and see if that helps.
For that, plug it in to your computer with iTunes open, you then hold the lock button and home button for roughly ten seconds, and then let go of the lock button, but keep holding the home button, it will tell you in iTunes if you have got it in DFU mode or not.
