How to replace a broken iSight Cam cable?
The logic board connection of the iSight Cam stripped and is stuck on the logic board. I have the entire WIFI Bluetooth iSight Cam and Antenna apparatus and could replace the whole thing but the only piece that is broken is the one end of the iSight Cam.
I know I can replace the entire apparatus by taking the screen off but that would be my last resort because it is so labor intensive and I would not want to screw it up. Is there a way to only fix the one end of the iSight Cam cable? Strip and solder the connection? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Eventually want to sell the computer but this is one of things in the way right now. Thank you for your help.

I ended up replacing the entire cable set. So taking off the display and dealing with the camera cable that way.

Good option glad you were able to avoid a whole different display. Like I said I tried that even with another technician working under a stereo microscope it was virtually impossible.
