Backlight problem on 5s

I think I need to replace the backlight filters. I've read plenty about where they are on the iPhone 5 but can't find anything on the iPhone 5s. Can anyone tell me where they are on the board and where I can buy them? Is this all I will need to replace or should I also replace the coil and ic chip.

Thank you in advance!!

I'd check around FL24, FL25, FL26 as well as the capacitors C17, C243 and C18.

Thank you! This was exactly what I was looking for. Do you know where I can buy the filters and capacitors?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

susan, the three filters are 240 OHM 0.2A 0.8 OHM in a 0201 (0603 metric) package. Available at places like this http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en...

Probably not the cheapest solution, but perhaps consider replacing the entire display assembly, digitizer en all. It's a Much Much easier job.

I already tried that. I can see the apple logo, barely, using a flashlight pointed at the display, so I think the backlight filter is blown. I'm up for replacing it/them. Can solder, just don't know where they're located. Plenty of info on the iPhone5, not much on the 5s.

Thanks!
