something is stuck in my earphone jack

I was trying to put my earbuds in my MacBook Air computer and it wouldn't work. I looked in the jack and I saw a chip in there and I don't know how to get it out. What should I do??

I have a similar problem but, the thing that is stuck is silica gel balls (The one that come in "Do Not Eat" packs). I tried poking with a needle but it doesn't work!

Please help guys.

You are talking about food here correct. If so try a toothpick to snag it and pull it out. Don't try blowing it out with can'ed air as more likely push it in deeper.
