What kind of glue I can use to mount the trackpad?

I know the fine 3M adhesive is used, but the "hard" glue with which the glass is fixed, what is it?

Apple uses a lot of hot glues as its faster in the assembly process.

You should be able to re-apply the glass using a heat gun to heat the metal (getting it to the tacky state) and then the glass after you warm it up, put it on and continue heating. You will also need to press on the glass a bit (mind the fingers it will be hot!)
