The batteries in your camera may be drained or bad. Try replacing the batteries and make sure that the battery door is properly closed.

If that does not work there may me a more serious problem such as a broken on/off button or damaged motherboard.

Make sure your camera battery is fully charged.

Try to reset the battery and try.

Last thing you do is connect the charger to see that it is charging, then you on it

then take it to repaire center.
