Why is my gameboy advance sp crashing when Im gaming?

To be honest, I havent played my gameboy in years, so when it started crashing, I wasnt surprised.(What I mean by crashing is, the system shuts off unexpectedly)

Also, i tried googling my problem, and I havent found similiar problems. Please help!
