Third generation of iPad with Wi-Fi, released on March 16, 2012. Model Number A1416. Repair requires heating and careful prying.

I can't fit my glass in properly. What should I do?

I was replacing an iPad 3 screen for a customer when I was putting the new screen back on. I put some pressure on a stubborn corner when the glass cracked. I noticed a small upward bend in the aluminum right where it is cracked. Is there any way I will be able to properly close the glass? Or will it have to be slightly open in that corner?

Please look at the following pictures to clarify what I mean:

Hello if the casing has a bend in it you could try to bend it back into shape very carefully with pliers
