The wi-fi only version of Apple's iPad Air, model number A1474. Available in Space Gray or Silver, it packs the custom A7 processor and ships in 16, 32, 64, and 128 GB configurations.

The smart case is locking the iPad when it touches the back?

I completed an iPad digitiser replacement, the smart case now locks the device when placed on top of the device, as normal. However, it also locks when folded behind and contacts the rear. I've opened up the iPad again, but I can't identify the magnets or find a solution.

I also can't find anyone else with this issue, any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here: after a replacement the cover turns off the iPad from the back, not on the front

Same thing happens to me. I thought maybe I pinched the ribbon cables. But without that case it all, works fine.

This happens when you don't use a genuine home button, it locks when the smart case is on back or front. Add the original or genuine home button (the ones that come with replacement air screens tend to be copies) and the problem will go away

I have an original Apple Smart Case and never experienced this.

Than i cracked my screen and went for a replacement.

Now I have ghost touches and this magnet thing.

The question I have is the guy changed the digitizer glass so what can he have moved to do this?
