I rooted my galaxy note 2 and downloaded an app and now all it does is say 4g lte Samsung galaxy note 2 over and over. It acts like it is going to turn on but then it goes back to 4g lte. I have took the battery out and tried to restart it, I have tried manually rebooting it and nothing works! Please help me fix my phone please!

It's possible you have a faulty battery.
I was convinced my GN2 was a write off. It just showed the gn2 splash screen for a few seconds, before restarting and doing the same thing every 10 seconds. This was without Mains connected. Battery didn't enter my head because even though the phone is over 18 months old, battery life has been good - 6-8 hours.
Plugged into Mains, I got further, but not much. The phone would start to load, but would often restart during this, and would also often just turn itself completely off and show the green battery screen. Occasionally I'd get right through to the home screen and could use it, but every few seconds / minutes it would suddenly drop back to the sim pin screen, and would still occasionally reboot / turn off. It was also doing strange stuff like forgetting my wifi key or reporting corrupted files on the SDCard.
I suspected the battery at this point, but was unable to prove anything without a different one to try. All I knew was that it wouldn't start without Mains, was still flaky with Mains, and would turn off as soon as I pulled the mains out. The phone won't turn on at all if the battery isn't present, ie won't run on Mains alone.
Turns out not all chargers are created equal, and I'm not just talking about amps. The charger that shipped with the phone, while powerful, appears to charge with a variable pattern, ie high power for a few seconds then low power. If it's quiet, I can hear the circuit buzzing, and changing in intensity. I've found that with a dumb 0.7A Nokia charger that the phone is completely OK, as long as it's connected. Now that the phone is stable, I've been able to monitor the battery more scientifically, and I've found that while it reports 100% charged, it still turns off straight away when I pull the plug, and if I plug in and boot up right away, it shows 10% charged, and charges very quickly (from 10% to 70% in 25min).
So, in summary, it looks like a suddenly dead battery, and a charger with an unhelpful charging method, are responsible for a lot of strange behaviour. I've got a battery on the way, and I fully expect it to restore my phone to full performance.
Just don't discount battery as a possible fault, and DO try a variety of compatible chargers, is all I'm saying. Hope this helps someone, if not the OP.

So the good news is unless you were messing with Xposed or a similar program your phone ISN'T bricked. However to better answer your question I have a couple for you.
Did you install a custom ROM or a custom recovery simply just root it?
Also the best method you can try is to turn your phone off, hold the power button, home button and volume down until the warning screen comes up. Press down to cancel then hold volume up and the home button while booting up but release them once it vibrates and shows the SAMSUNG logo. If this doesn't work please reply to my question and I can help you further! If it does help please aide to my reputation and score!

Hello Donley I tried to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy Note to android 4.4. I downloaded all the files which was needed as quoted in this forum

but when i installed CWM Recovery v6.0.4.5 and tried to reboot, it just shut off and won't turn on again. I took out battery and done those holding buttons method but to no avail. Can u please help me? I'm really worried.

So my phone was stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 screen so what I did was hold down the home,power, and lower volume button then it gave me this warning screen. And I pressed the upper volume button and now it is on the downloading screen. I have been waiting like 30 minutes and it still is at the screen. Hello my GN2 shows samsung logo but does not boot. After a while it was no longer ahowing the samsung logo. I remember the phon was working a day before but battery was low and i saw an advert to save battery and clicked to download. And on the following day it was only showing samsung logo and battery charge comes on but was not appearing to charge, Please help me. My phone was obtained less than 2 years. Lionel

gn2 goes to the tmobile 4glte screen. it will stay at that screen til i either remove the battery or it dies. i dont want to master reset my phone seeing that it has very keepsake photos on it. what can i do to fix this

my galaxy note 2 wont open.
i left it when i sleep with minimal battery but not in red.
then when i woke up, its off & it wont open again.
i replaced the battery with my spare full charged battery but it still wont open.
i tried holding the power button but it wont open.

i switched on my developer options and tick the usb debugging . when i switched off my phone and i try to roots my phone. so i pressed volume up , home key button and power button and it came out SD Card Checked. i waited less than 1 minute then i took out the battery of my phone cause it taking too long. when i put my battery back in. i cant switch my phone on . Hello guys,
I have SGN2 and I turned it off so I can charge it, after 3 hours when I go back to take it off charge and switch on I find out there is Blue LED and as we know it is normally supposed to show the green battery on a screen when it is full charged but now it shows nothing. I took out battery and put in again and try manual rebooting but my phone doesn't turn on. When I put it on charge it doesn't indicate if it is charging. I tried to remove SD and SIM card then I reboot it again manually but still there is nothing.

it could be that you need a new USB board (the part that you plug your phone into).
i have the same problem, put new charging port in and new battery and still won't come on.
My Note two charges only and doesn't switch on.
It dies completely when i remove it from charger
I tried the 3 key method and it stays on the samsung logo and doesn't change.

You have to install note 2 stock room from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and install it on you Phone with Odin.
There is plenty of tutorials on Google that shows how to use Odin.

I have a sgn2 and my phone was okay today and ended up been stuck on the samsung galaxy logo and wouldnt switch off and my partner has done a reboot and now its downloading, hopefuly it is sorting itself out.
