The Samsung Galaxy S4, model i9505, features a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-inch 1080p display.

Can't connect the display/digitizer connector back in.

Title is in the description. I tried every way and cant seem to fit it in. I tried with the old display and it fits perfect. Does anybody had this kind of problem?

It's a defect flex from your new display. I've had this happen several times (original samsung screens) so it's deffinitely not an uncommon problem. Simply return it from the place you purchased it and ask for a new one.

A tip, which I always do now, before moving any thing over into the new screen always place in the motherboard and try to connect the flex cable first. Saves a lot of time in the long run!

As you said, it must be the problem of the display, you can exchange the display you bought. Compare the pins on the connectors with old display to see if they are right.

In my attempts to connect the display, I managed to mangle the connector, rendering it useless. I've seen YouTube videos showing how to replace the FPD board connector, but is there a way to replace the ribbon side?
