iPhone 5 mutes and facetimes random people during calls

I bought the complete screen assembly and replaced on iphone 5. Phone now randomly mutes and/or facetimes random people in the middle of calls. I suspect it has something to do with the proximity sensor?

sounds like you broke your proximity sensor flex cable. its the one with the camera on it. you can find them on ebay. just make sure u get the one with both the camera and prox sensor.
