8 Docking Port Cable Cannot be fully inserted
My brother-in-law said when he removed his docking cable it broke the connector (can see missing metal on top)- but I can insert the cable connector except the right side won't lock all of the way in. I noticed on the right side there seems to be a piece of copper metal reverse "L" shape that may be blocking full insertion. Does anyone know what this metal is used for? Can I try to bend it out of the way? I don't see this metal at all on the left side.
