Why is my computer not working after the repair?

I recently fixed or tried to fix my macbook air. I replaced my battery and now it doesn't work. But I know that I accidentally ripped the part that connects the battery to the mother board. I should have just pulled the connecter out of a little box. Not pulling and also ripping the part that's connected to the mother board. I put back the little box with a glue, but it's not working. What should I do? Please help.

It sounds like you need to have some precision soldering done. Adhesive alone will not guarantee proper contact for this component.
