Sounds like you need a new dock if your phone won't charge in the wall

If it turn off by itself randomly then I would replace the battery I'm 99% sure that's the problem

My first suggestion would be to disconnect the battery as a soft reset, if you have the proper tools. If that doesn't work you may need to replace a part or two. Also, was the phone water damaged? Or how did this problem start?

We are going to try and disconnect the battery once the correct tools arrive, Which parts might need replacing? No the phone wasn't water damaged. The phone was fine, i left the room for 5 mins (phone was about 20% battery when i left) i came back and the phone was off and in the current predicament

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Well definitely try the battery first. Your charger port flex may possibly need replaced, and at worst, your logic board may need repaired. But let me know how the battery helps!!

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it worked. but the phone keeps on turning off randomly even with more than half charge, only way to make it work is to keep on disconnecting the battery. I have a new lock button and a new proximity sensor ready to be fixed ASAP could they be the solution

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

okay! When you say it keeps turning off, is it doing that as soon as you make a phone call? If so then the prox sensor could be the problem. If it happens totally random then it could be other things

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

No, it turns off just randomly then wont come back on unless i take the battery out then put it back in..
