Why doesn't Windoze 7 Ultimate see when connected

I can't get Windoze 7 Ultimate to see the camera when connected via the USB port as on the cable camera-to-PC.

I have may photos & I would like to upload them to my P.C.

Any help very much appreciated...

xapatrax, it is possible that either your cable is not working right or that your connector has failed. Of course you also want to make sure that your computer is capable of detecting the hardware. Make sure that you have a good battery in your camera. You can get the pictures of your camera by getting a memory card reader which is independent from your camera.
