Is there a list of compatible lcds? does a1304 work?

I found some anecdotal evidence online that the a1369 and a1466 (1366?) mbair lcds are interchangeable. I found a newer 13" mbair lcd a1304 for cheap so I bought it without checking compatibility... is there a site or list somewhere useful for finding compatible lcds for each model laptop? I can probably use an adapter but the only good adapter sites I've found are all in Chinese! please help.. ty.

galaxy, powerbookmedic.com offers a compatibility chart if you know exactly which display you are looking for. I found that the best way to determine which LCD is compatible, is to go by the datasheet of the two panels. If you have the manufacturers number you can usually find the datasheet and compare the specs.

galaxy, I really think you should save your money. Most people on here do not take money to help others. It's a group of people just like you, trying to help each other out. Rewards offered usually do not get anymore attention than any other question. I personally would edit that offer, however generous, out of your comment. ;-) The reward for any answer that is helpful, is a simple upvote or an acceptance if it helped. So, now where we have this out of the way, let's see what we can do to get it done. Do you have the manufacturer number on your A1369 LCD panel? If you do, please post it on here. also, post the last three digits of your serial number so we can properly identify the logic board.

thanks for this info. do you know of any adapter sites that are in English.? i have seen some pretty amazing things in Chinese like taking a $30 generic laptop lcd panel and replacing $100 screen with them by clever adapter usage. i would imagine just about every display is compatible with another of the same size and total pixels or even pixel mismatch and still work 90% of the time kind of stuff. I am not above soldering and wiring my own adapter but for this I will need the schematics to match each wire correctly and of course pre-manufactured couplers for the connections at each end.

It would help if you supply the model number of both panels.
