Replacing my hard drive?

I am wanting to replace my standard 250GB hard drive with a 3TB hard drive but don't know of any good replacements, I did find a Seagate 3TB Barracuda 3.5" Internal Hard Drive SATA 600MBps 7200RPM 64MB, its a good price but the technical info doesn't say if it can be used in a Mac, just states PC, do i need a specific type that will only be compatible with a Mac

It will work, just remember to format it as HFS+ with GUID!

If Disk Utilities doesn't see the drive you may need to slow it down using the jumpers.
