Battery Replacement: screen will not come off

Hello,

Am stuck on step 2 of the guide -- the screen will not come off! I am pulling rather hard but not like a maniac. Anything I can do without destroying 1) the gasket 2) the screen 3) the phone?

Hi, I know this is silly, but have u checked whether anything else is blocking the screw hole. Also sometimes it might be hard to get the screen out, if it is the first time that the phone is being opened. Ask someone to hold the phone while u pull, but be aware of the three cables which are still connected to the motherboard. Write back on how it went. Good luck.

Hi since this is your first time opening up the screen and touch panel with a suction cup, so it will be little hard, just try pulling abit harder but becareful of the three cable connecting to the touch panel and lcd, so open in a v formation, example like how you use your hand to imitate a crocodile mouth

open > close - open > close -, got it?, pivot the top part of the iPhone, hope this helps cheers!
