My acer spin 5 sp513-51-52qs gnd/vcc FCC tore up into two parts under the fan. Is it the cause of my laptop battery not charging? For your information my laptop doesn't have problem to power on and detecting the battery such as wear level. The problem is it doesn't charging battery anymore.

Nintendo 3DS: B and X buttons unresponsive

I've probably dropped my original model 3DS dozens of times since I bought it in 2011, but the B and X buttons are now unresponsive after it fell a foot out of my pants pocket when I was sitting down. They only work if pressed hard; merely tapping them will not work. I opened it up and cleaned the buttons and wiped the contacts on the motherboard with isopropyl alcohol (the contacts didn't look dirty at all), but it didn't help. Any idea what the problem could be?

Also, while not a big deal, the green "3D" LED no longer lights up after I opened up the 3DS. The 3D slider hasn't worked for years and the 3D is stuck on, but I don't want to risk fixing this if it requires heating and prying off the upper display front panel.

I was restarting my laptop when It sad I needed system recovery. I clicked restart, and after that, I got a black screen. I connected it to a monitor, but I still got a blank screen. The screen light was on, but it was still a black screen. It happened after 2 power outages.

Custom Built Desktop PC: Recurring SrtTrail.txt boot error and random USB disconnects after Windows reinstall

My desktop PC is experiencing recurring SrtTrail.txt boot errors and random USB/device disconnects. I have already tried a clean Windows reinstall and driver updates, but the issues persist. I suspect a motherboard or power supply issue.

I've also experienced "Download failed" errors when trying to download drivers directly. I have an installation log from a failed driver attempt that I'm looking to analyze.

What could cause both the boot loops and the intermittent device disconnects? Is there anything specific I should look for in the installation log?

Drive Health: C: (89% Good), D: (99% Good). GPU: GTX 1080 Ti.

Steps already tried:

- Clean Windows install (Cloud reinstall)

- DDU for GPU drivers

- SFC /scannow and DISM commands

- Checked drive health with CrystalDiskInfo (both Good)

- Attempted driver/BIOS updates (failed download)

My wife was using dryer, I smell burning wire(s) then dryer stopped heating, drum was turning ok, . Inspected wires and any sign of melted or burnt wires. Replaced heating element assembly with sensors and fuse. Checked old element and fuse and elements tested ok with ohm meter. Voltage input is 248vac, Control panel works fine. Vent is clear, Still no heat! Any Thoughts ?

I am trying to fix the "snap" feature on my Hasbro Marvel Legends Nano Gauntlet. The Infinity Stones still light up and make individual sounds when pressed, and I have installed fresh batteries, so the speaker and main board seem fine. However, the "snap" motion no longer triggers the lights or sound effects.

It seems like the internal mechanical trigger or sensor that detects the finger snap motion is either misaligned or broken. Has anyone successfully opened the palm or finger assembly to realign or repair this specific snap switch? Any advice on what to look for once the gauntlet is open would be greatly appreciated.
