I have had the same problem. It seems anytime any little bit of moisture gets into the phone this is what happens. I live in Ireland - it never stops raining!!

Anyway what's worked for me is to wrap the phone in a towel and put in somewhere warm like a radiator to "dry it out". It worked for me.
