Replacing the Ram on my Mac Pro

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Okay so I just got a Mac Pro for free from my Uncle and Aunt as a Graduation Present. It came with 2 GB of RAM, because it's the older model.

I wanted to update it a little more because it is able to hold 32GB of RAM.

So I Just ordered 8 GB of RAM. 4 x 2GB Sticks.

I did some research on YouTube of People upgrading the RAM. Whenever they put in new RAM, there is some sort of cover that goes over it.

It looks like this from the side:

So I was wondering what that cover is, do I have to use it, and where can I get them?

Thanks
