Adamo 13 - Power cable OR power jack problem?

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I will try to be articulate, but may be overtly verbose in trying to explain the issue:

I am having trouble with charging my adamo - I suspect it is the power jack itself.

When I plug the power cable into the power jack, it does not always charge or make a connection. I can see from the battery icon when it has connected.

When I plug it in and the icon for the battery does not activate the battery icon with a plug next to it, I can often manipulate it to charge by applying pressure to the outer base of the power cord while it is plugged in. Unplugging and re-plugging don't seem to make a difference.

What do you think the issue is -- and can I fix it?

Thank you for your time!
