Kenmore banging noise in spin cycle

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I've read discussions giving a few possible causes for banging during the spin cycle in Kenmore washing machines but none which address my situation. Mine only bangs in the spin cycle after the ''wash'' cycle, not after the ''rinse'' cycle. It happens with every load, so I don't see how it could be a matter of an imbalance in the clothes in the tub. Shouldn't whatever causes it in one spin cycle cause it in both? I'm hoping the answer to this will help me better pinpoint the problem.
