Hi, not sure if you still have DJM909 with you now.

I guess the reason for its problem might be one or multiple of

•short circuit of resistor

•broken capacitor

•broken op amp

•broken transistor

If i were you, i will look for schematics and service manual. Also you will need oscilloscope to see where the audio signal gets distort.
