Google Pixel 7 Won’t Charge After Battery Replacement

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

''Update'' - If I boot the phone into fastboot mode, it will not shut down when plugged in and it charges at around 10w. Because it charges in fastboot mode, I would assume the charging circuit isn't the problem and it's software related.

I installed a brand new genuine Google battery in this Pixel 7, following iFixit’s recommended steps: drain to 0%, charge to 100%, repeat. After draining it to 0%, the phone now won’t charge at all.
In this video, I show what happens when I plug it in—the wattage briefly ramps up, then drops to 0.4W, which isn’t enough to charge the phone.
I’ve tried multiple PD power supplies (Google, MacBook, and others), different cables, and every button combo I could think of (power, power + volume down, etc.)—no luck.
The phone is in like-new condition and I used an official Google battery. Any ideas on what to try next? I’d really appreciate your help!
