Recently replaced one of the rear camera lenses for a customer. It appears there is the standard external glass, then a second layer that further protects the actual camera module as well. Should help prevent the black dots you see after a lens shatters when not fixed immediately. Hopefully someone can confirm, havnt had any other iPhone 16 to play around with yet.
