I bought my AirPods Pro 2 back when they were first released and they’ve worked fine until recently. A few weeks ago, they suddenly stopped connecting to my iPhone, I tried reconnecting through the Bluetooth settings, but it asked me to ''“Forget This Device”'' first, so I did.
When I opened the case again, the pairing popup showed up on my iPhone as usual, and everything seemed to work, until the moment I needed to put the AirPods into pairing mode. That’s when I realized the button on the back of the case doesn’t seem to work at all. Pressing it does nothing, and the LED doesn’t change.
I’m guessing the button might be physically broken. I’ve considered buying a new MagSafe case and pairing the AirPods with that one, but I’d really rather avoid spending more money if there’s any way to fix this or reset it some other way.
Any ideas ?
