It could be a faulty charging port. Did you try both [https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/yoga9_14itl5_ug_en.pdf|Thunderbolt ports] to check if they are both faulty or if one is OK? Go to p.3 (p9 of 64 pdf) to view the ports)
If only one is faulty then use a strong light and a magnifying glass to visually inspect the port to see if there's any lint etc, trapped in the port enclosure which may be preventing a good electrical connection and also if the pins are OK or if some are bent etc.
If both ports don't work, you will need the [document|34656|hardware maintenance manual] and the [https://www.laptopserviz.bg/index.php/enview/lenovo-ideapad-yoga-9-14itl5-lcfc-nm-c841-c950-tgl-u42-rev2-0-schematic.html|schematics] to find out what's wrong. (supplier example only as I couldn't find a free download online and this was the cheapest one).
