There's a drain tube leading from under the evaporator unit inside the freezer compartment to the evaporator pan underneath the compartments near the compressor motor.

Check if it is blocked preventing the defrost meltwater from draining away to the pan and it could back up and overflow through to the freezer compartment and also to underneath the refrigerator. Any water that gets into the freezer compartment will refreeze once the defrost cycle has finished.

Here's a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyZ1fAf8eoM|video] that shows how to replace the drain hose so that you can check if the hose is OK and not blocked.

Here's a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va1GrkdjfM4|video] that shows how to replace the defrost heater in the refrigerator. This video is only to show you how to access the area where the drain hole is in the freezer compartment that connects to the drain hose so that you can check if something may be blocking the drain tube entry hole.
