Could be a faulty power button tactile switch on the display/control board.
Use an Ohmmeter to check if the switch is faulty.

Seems like all the models use the same board. Check the number on the board to be sure before you order one

+The control board is directly behind the control panel, so you would have to figure out how to remove the panel to gain access to it.
+
+It may be that the actuating pin of the On/Off power button is not operating the switch on the board.
