Is it only those two settings that revert back or do you have to setup (retune etc) the TV again as well?
Not sure if this will work but if it is only the settings associated with the screen's brightness/contrast etc try the following to check if the following procedure works to find out if the backlighting i.e. LED backlights or LED power supply on the power board, is OK.
Turn off the TV if on and then disconnect the power to the TV. Remove the back cover and disconnect the mainboard-power board cable ''at the power board end only.''

Reconnect the power to the TV and check if the screen backlights turn on and stay on with the same brightness intensity or if it varies at all.

Reconnect the power to the TV and check if the screen backlights turn on full brightness and stay on with the same intensity or if it varies at all.
There will be no images on the screen as the mainboard has been disconnected.
