Just verifying that it is a 42" mower?

If this is the case, there are 2 springs shown in the mower deck 38" parts diagram, Items #22 and #23. Unfortunately I couldn't find a video that shows how to replace them but the diagram may help you to see where they're attached to.
Depending on which one is broken, search online for the ''part number only,'' relevant to the spring you need, to find suppliers that suit you best.
