Yes, it is a custom fan. But you can probably get it fit. You can solder the fan wires to the pins to get it working, or replace the socket connector with one which they use on a PC motherboard (this will be the most nice good looking solution).

Regarding the fan, there are multiple options to get it fixed. Long screws OR brackets, in the worst case ti-rips.
