I posted earlier last year when i had this issue and wanted to post my resolution. Not a good DIY one, but I had to send my PlayStation back to Sony (covered under warranty) and they sent me a whole new PlayStation. From the research that i did, it seemed like a fuse issue on the circuit board. Not an easy fix if you don’t know what you’re doing or have the tools to solder. Seems like a manufacturing issue in a certain batch of PlayStations.
