First of all, take everything I'm about to say with a grain of salt. However, from what I can tell, the buttons are the exact same. You should be able to transport the buttons. If possible, though, I would just get a new button for your Steam Deck to guarantee no risk to it.
Buttons themselves are pretty universal. It completes a circuit....and that's about it. Having a different button for LCD vs OLED seems pointless for Steam to do.
