Hey there @julieporter!
I'm not sure where you live, so I'm not sure what's around you. However, if there's one around, your local repair shop will probably be more than happy to replace your screen. As to how much the screen itself will cost, a good, inexpensive one should be around $75-ish. But, if you ''really'' don't care about screen quality, you could probably get one for $30.
Although if you think you're up for it, I'm sure you could replace it yourself. Having taken one apart myself, it's not too difficult to do. There's a good screen replacement video [link|https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=660ohtqPn6Y|here] of a 9th-gen HD 10 fire (I couldn't find any good 13th-gen ones). The steps should be relatively the same as yours.
Good luck, cheers!
