Hi @cdcoupland76406
Can you be heard when making or receiving a call if you use the phone in loudspeaker mode?
If you can is the phone in a protective case at all?
If it is remove it from the case and check if you can now be heard when on a call in normal mode i.e. not loudspeaker mode.
If still no good or if it isn't in a protective case, try using a vacuum cleaner to clear the voice inlet hole , next to the headphone jack on the bottom edge of the phone, in case it is blocked with lint etc. Do not use a pin or probe try and clear it, as the microphone is directly behind it.
If still no good, try starting the phone in ''safe mode'' and check if you can be heard when on a call.
Here's how to enter safe mode in your phone:
* With the phone turned on
* Press and hold your ***Power*** button.
* Touch and hold ***Power off***. Confirm by ***OK***, if needed.
* ***Safe Mode*** turns on.
If it works OK when in safe mode, then a 3rd party app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one is the culprit. A 3rd party app, is one that you downloaded and installed on the phone and wasn't preinstalled on the phone when you got it. You will have to uninstall each 3rd party app one by one and test the phone in normal mode, between each uninstall to see if it works OK or not. When it does then the last 3rd party app that was uninstalled was the cause of the problem.
If still no good in safe mode, then there's a problem with the microphone in the phone and the phone will have to be opened and checked to find out what's wrong.
