I'm trying to repair my Xbox Series S controller and I accidentally damaged one of the internal black cables. [br]
There are two of them inside the controller—each is a small round black wire that connects two internal PCBs. One end of the cable is soldered directly to a PCB, and the other end has a tiny round plug that connects to the second board (it can be detached).
I’d like to:
# Identify what kind of cable this is exactly.
# Know whether it’s a standard type of wire that I can buy online (AliExpress, etc.).
# Understand if it’s safe and feasible to replace it myself, and if so, what specs (gauge, type, etc.) I should look for.
-
I’ve tried searching for replacement parts but haven’t found anything conclusive. If anyone knows exactly what this cable is used for, or has a link to a compatible replacement, I’d be really grateful.
