That way we are all starting at the same point and will not have to repeat to many steps in case of further troubleshooting.

A battery reset could be done by using Lenovo's Energy Management. Check and see if that is installed on your computer. I would like to see what your Windows sees in regards to your battery. Generate a battery report using the command powercfg /batteryreport in Windows PowerShell or Command Prompt. Then post a picture or copy of that with your Question. It may give us a clue about what Windows is doing.
