So the fault looked to be the speaker driver itself, but to get to it you have to remove the innter pod that is glued down. And do do this you have heat up the inner-pod with a hot air gun set to low or a hair dryer set to high..[br]

I had a heat gun but unfortunatly for me, even with it set to only 100c (the lowest it would go), I "somehow" damaged the PCB even though I protected it with kapton tape. The headphones would not longer turn on, so into the bin they went.
