I think it's time to open it up and to take a look at the power supply. Use the guides from here [[Topic:Apple Thunderbolt Display]] to at least get into it. Once there, take a couple of good pictures of the power supply and let's see if we can make out any weak spots. the time is right for some of the capacitors to start riding off into the sunset.
