I am having the same issue. Replaced a iPhone 14 Pro Max screen with a high quality LCD screen.

I have been told changing a oled screen with a lcd screen can make it get hot, though I have done this repair on other iPhone 14 Pro Max phones before and have not had this issue before.

Will be ordering new sensor cable for the top sensor just in case I damaged that.
