If Win10 or Win11 is installed in the laptop, try the following and check if it resolves the problem.

Turn on the laptop and when it boots into Windows, press and hold the laptop's power button operated until the laptop shuts down.

Do this 3 times in a row i.e. ''start > boot > force shutdown > start> boot > force shutdown > start > boot etc.''

On the 3rd attempt it should boot into the ***W***indows ***R***ecovery ***E***nvironment menus.

If it does go to ''Troubleshooting > Advanced > Startup repair'' and follow the prompts.

Be careful if you decide to select Reset this PC in the menus, because if you select the wrong option next, you could erase all your personal data as Windows will be reinstalled on the laptop.
