@jimconnell2853 you've checked step 3 of the guide to make sure you are at the right seam? Those plastic snaps form a tight fit and really require something thin and sturdy. For stubborn cases like this I usually use a putty knife or razor blade scraper.

+I'd stay away from heat since that will only soften the snaps which might make it even more difficult to get them to unsnap.
